Waluś Ski Rental was founded in 1995 by Józef Nowobilski, who, together with his wife Grażyna, played a significant role in the development of winter tourism in Białka Tatrzańska. In the early years, access to professional ski equipment was very limited, and popular brands included Polsport and Salomon.

Józef, a skiing enthusiast, introduced innovations, developing not only the rental service but also a ski workshop, ensuring full comfort and safety for clients on the slopes. His dedication to the rental’s growth was also driven by his deep love for Białka Tatrzańska, where he grew up.

In 2011, through collaboration with other ski companies, the Wintergroup was established, aiming to raise the quality of services in the industry across Poland. Later, in 2019, leveraging the experience of Józef Nowobilski and his colleagues from Wintergroup, the first online ski rental in Poland, bookski.pl, was launched.

In 2010, the name Waluś Ski was officially adopted by the owners, who opened a second rental location near Kotelnica Białczańska. The name comes from the family nickname and the first name of Józef’s grandfather.

Today, Waluś Ski is a modern rental that combines tradition, passion, and advanced technology, offering top-quality ski and snowboard equipment along with professional service.
